I can be typing or even trying to use the mouse and it will start jumping all over the screen on its own…selecting things…even switching/moving windows as if buttons are being pressed as well. I primarily use a wireless mouse with it…and every so often the mouse will take on a mind of its own.
I’ve had my laptop for a little over 4 months. Scenario 2: Erratic Mouse/Touchpad Behavior on Inspiron 15 5447 Did anyone experience this? Does anyone have any ideas on fixing it? I am frustrated. Obviously, it appears to be a conflict, but I can’t figure out what the conflict is from. The mouse is ok through the boot cycle, but once everything is loaded it starts the erratic jerky movement. I have updated the BIOS to the latest version.

I have installed the latest Windows 10 drivers for the mouse, graphics, touchpad, etc. I have installed all the Windows 10 updates. I am having the same issue with erratic jerky movement using the touchpad or keyboard TrackPoint. I have tried other mice on my Lenovo Twist laptop, including a wired mouse, and have the same issue with jerky erratic movement. It is not the mouse, I have tried it on several other computers, including another computer running Windows 10 with no issue. The mouse point randomly freezes as I move it around the screen. Since upgrading to Windows 10, my Logitech M305 mouse movement has become erratic and jerky.
